What does Rage Against the Machine’s "Guerilla Radio" have to do with our well-being journey?

When we are looking to make a change, the easy thing to do is to put it off. If we decide we are going to improve how we eat or decide to start exercising more or decide to stay off of our phones and read more, we often pick a time that is convenient, but not immediate.

What does that look like?

It’s the weekend and we have plans, so we decide to change how we eat on Monday after the weekend. It’s Wednesday, the middle of the week, can’t possibly start a new exercise routine, might as well wait until Sunday to figure out how to start exercising more. I will start using my phone less, once I find a book that I want to read.

Those are all easy choices.

The motivation for making the hard choices can be found in these lyrics from Rage Against The Machine:

“It has to start somewhere, it has to start sometime, What better place than here, what better time than now?” [Emphasis added.]

Make the hard choices, and start right here and right now.
